What’s your favorite restaurant in Portland and why? Thai Noon on Alberta. It’s one of my faves because even though we have a million Thai places in Portland, this place always has really creative specials to choose from, their spicy scale is perfect, and the atmosphere is casual, but zingy.
What is the one piece of technology you couldn’t live without?
Smart Phone. I can’t live without my droid because it is my life in a compact super gadget. It’s hard to imagine life without a gadget that has such keen intuition, sleek style and supreme functionality to connect me to everything I do on a daily basis PLUS help me find places to eat, sleep, shop, play, dance, drink and do whatever I feel like doing upon the idea popping into my head! It’s a fascinating must have for me.
What is your favorite neighborhood in Portland?
Sellwood for its quaint and happy
vibe; Alberta Arts for its eccentric funkiness; both of these for their great local businesses, but I also love Lake Oswego, where I live now.
What is the best part about living in Portland during the summer?
Freedom to frolic in one of the most beautiful parts of the country
Where did you go on your last road trip?
The OR Coast – with 2 little ones, road trips get shorter and shorter!
