Steve Potestio, Partner / Managing Director Steve graduated from the University of Oregon with a Journalism degree, with an emphasis in Advertising. After working in both the advertising and marketing fields in Oregon and the San Francisco Bay Area in roles ranging from artist to media buyer, traffic management and account executive, Steve pursued a career in sales, taking a position as an account executive with a staffing agency. He then took over a temporary staffing division for a boutique placement agency, drawing on his advertising agency experience by developing placement services for the creative industry. Upon returning to the Portland area, Steve pursued creative staffing, developing a network in the local creative community. His client, ID Branding, launched Via Training and hired him as human resources manager, where he was responsible for all of the recruiting and hiring for the two companies. Two years into his role as HR manager for both, he was promoted to director of operations for Via Training, managing the HR function and the business operations. During his tenure Via grew from 12 to over 130 employees and became Portland's largest interactive agency. |
