52 Limited Partners with UX Hires

52 Limited is formally partnering with UX Hires, a New York firm focused on UX/UI and AI innovation placement, consulting, and recruiting. It brings two boutique firms together under one shared standard.

For over 20 years, we've placed top talent in marketing, design, UX, digital transformation, and engineering. Peter Kornberg and the UX Hires team add deep East Coast relationships, an established client network, and specialized expertise where AI and design meet.

What UX Hires Brings

UX Hires pairs its East Coast network with our national placement record. Together we can serve clients on both coasts. We bring depth in emerging disciplines like AI and UX, backed by the fundamentals of great talent placement.

What This Means for Clients

Combined, we can take on larger and more complex projects. We'll keep the personal approach both firms are known for.

  • Hiring runs start to finish with one team, from defining the role and finding the right people through interviews, final decisions, and an accepted offer.
  • Team development helps you build and shape teams around how work is changing, identifying the skills you need now and the capabilities that will carry you forward.
  • Embedded consultants work directly inside your organization, adding specialized expertise, accelerating priority initiatives, and helping your teams drive digital transformation from within.

A Word From Our President

“Peter and the UX Hires team bring exactly what we've been looking for: deep East Coast relationships, specialized AI expertise, and a shared commitment to placing the right people in the right roles. We're not just adding capacity. We're creating something new.”

The Slow Hire

Most hiring teams have lost a candidate this way. The candidate was great and the interviews went well. Then the process stalled. By the time the offer went out, they had already said yes somewhere else.

The Candidate Who Got Away

Picture a search for a design lead. A strong candidate clears the first round on a Monday. The next interview takes two weeks to schedule because three people need to be in the room. Feedback sits in inboxes, and then someone adds a final round. Five weeks in, the offer goes out. She accepted another role the Friday before. Nobody did anything wrong. Every delay made sense on its own. Together, they cost the hire.

What a Slow Process Really Costs

The open seat is only part of it. Work piles up on the people covering the role, and projects slip. When the search restarts, teams often end up settling for their second choice. A slow process also sends a message. Strong candidates read a delay as a preview of how decisions get made once they're inside.

For Hiring Managers

Moving fast doesn't mean cutting corners. It means deciding the details before the search starts.

  • Set the panel early. Choose your interviewers and block their time before the first candidate is booked. Confirm who owns each topic and keep backup times open so one crowded calendar doesn't stall the entire process.
  • Define what a yes looks like. Agree on what a strong candidate needs to show before interviews begin. Give each interviewer a clear area to assess, so feedback is easier to compare and turns into a confident decision.
  • Put a clock on feedback. Ask for written input within one business day of every interview, while the details are still fresh. Review it on a set schedule so open questions get resolved before momentum fades.

For Candidates

A slow process isn't always a red flag. Sometimes the team is stretched thin, or the budget is waiting on approval. It's fair to ask about it. After each round, ask what the next step is and when you'll hear back. A clear answer usually means a team that knows what it wants. Vague answers and long silences may show you how decisions get made there.

Keeping a search moving is a big part of what we do. We keep feedback flowing and candidates engaged while you decide. Stuck in a slow search? Let's talk.

Jabbersnap Gets You Out of the Chair

Most of us still hand work to AI by typing into a box. When the job needs visuals, it gets worse. You screenshot, paste, grab a link, and paste again. Then you explain how it all fits together.

Jabbersnap takes a different approach. It's a palm-sized wireless remote that pairs with a Mac app. You talk through the job, and it shows the AI exactly what you mean.

Jabbersnap is being developed out of Upstart Collective in downtown Portland, Oregon.

How It Works

Recording starts only when you press a button, and a light shows it's on. It's never passively listening.

  • Talk through the task naturally from your desk, your chair, or across the room. Use a normal speaking voice and keep your attention on the work instead of stopping to type.
  • Snap captures screenshots, selected text, and links the moment you need them. Each button press adds useful context without interrupting your explanation or breaking your train of thought.
  • Send packages your spoken instructions and every capture into one organized prompt, preserving the order in which you shared them so the AI receives the complete context.

Who It's For

It's built for people who give visual or technical work to AI every day. Designers can give feedback while the details are on screen. Engineers can capture an error mid sentence. Product teams can turn a walkthrough into a complete handoff.

Our Take

We just got our hands on one, and it's already a favorite around the office. Talking a job through instead of typing it feels like how working with AI should have worked all along.
